Information***
Saturday May 6th (4-6pm)
and
Sunday May 7th (12-2pm)
Our
tryouts for the 2006 - 2007 Football and Competition squads will be May 6th & 7th. We have 2 practices; saturday 4-6,
sunday 12-2, with tryouts starting right after on Sunday, usually going until about 4pm. They will be held in the Parenzo
gym.
You can come to either one of the practices or both of them, we do the same thing at each one! There is no need to
attend more than one unless you want to.
Incoming freshmen will need to bring a photocopy of their insurance card or the info from it written out, and will
need a medical release form signed by a parent or guardian if you are under 18.
If you're 18 or over, you can sign it yourself. Current WSC students do not need their insurance info or a medical release
form.
For tryouts women will learn a cheer, a sideline, a dance, show
2 jumps, and a standing bh and pass if you have one. We're looking for at least a standing and power-hurdle round-off bh for
the Competition team, Football has no tumbling requirements. Men will learn do a cheer, toe-touch, and show any tumbling/stunting
skills.
Women: Dance, Sideline, Cheer, 2 Jumps, Optional tumbling pass (at least standing and power hurdle back handspring
required for co-ed)
Men: Cheer, Toe-Touch, Toss Hands/Extension, Optional tumbling pass
